Penny Construction has been remodeling and building for over 30 years. We have built New Homes, Remodeled Whole houses, Kitchen Remodels, Bath Remodels, built Additions, made Repairs, even Honey-do lists. We build because we are passionate about making it your home. We are sticklers for details, are picky, fussy, particular and our standards are extremely high. We like working with people who expect thoroughness, workmanship, attention to details; who expect us to be innovative, organized, problem solvers.

The choice of a Contractor to build or remodel your home should be less important than the choice of the person who will actually do the work on your job. You may like the demeanor of the Contractor, but when you meet the person/people who will be working/leading your job, you may simply not like them. Best advice, meet with the main "guy" you will be working/living with on a daily basis. If there is no main guy on the job everyday, and I mean whenever work is being done on your job, don't hire the Contractor. If you don't like the workers, don't hire the Contractor.

Quality is directly proportional to the Quality and the Quantity of Supervision.

For most Contractors, it is about how fast they can move, not the results.

Finding a builder to trust is like finding a good doctor, mechanic, dentist, accountant, even a friend. Hard to find, but once you do, savor that relationship. Trust in that relationship.

Penny Construction's goal is to create a home that is livable with the details that make it esthetically pleasing, yet functional. Doug Penny began as a carpenter, in the field, hands-on, in 1975. In 1980, Doug established Penny Construction, with a focus on Home Personalization, Customization, Remodeling and Maintaining. The past 35 years have been devoted to providing the highest quality of service and workmanship on New Home Construction, Remodels, Kitchen and Bath 'updates', as well as Additions and Second Homes.

Penny Construction not only provides quality management, workmanship, attention to detail, honesty, integrity and respect, it provides Doug Penny, President, as project manager; as a hands-on carpenter who gives his personal attention and involvement to every aspect of your project; no matter the size.

Penny Construction represents the experienced voice of reason, dedicated to oversee your entire project, protecting your interests and your needs. Architects don't always listen to what their clients want. Salesmen only sell what they have to sell. Subcontractors think particularly about what they subcontract. Our job is to take every bit of our knowledge, understanding, skill and determination and apply that to your project.
